Wales on Wheels at the Marina Swansea May 2016
A few of us decided to attend the Wales on
Wheels event in Dylan Thomas Square behind the Museum and run by the staff
of the museum. It didnít appear to be very well managed, with cars turning
up and making their own parking arrangements. They needed a number of
marshals to guide the exhibiting cars into an orderly display. That aside,
the weather was kind and the company was good as we bumped in to many
friends during the day. The museum was open to all the owners and visitors
and I must admit, it was the first time I have been into the new building.
It has a bit of an odd layout for me with a lot of empty spaces which I
found a bit off putting. Too modern perhaps, it must be an age thing.
Plenty of room for more cars.
A bit more disciplined, 2 rows!
|An odd layout for a museum?||Modern Art, allegedly!|
We did have a sit and a coffee or two during the day, trying out both of the coffee shops, people watching and talking cars of course.
