Established 1976

Once again, the Vintage Hotrod Association invaded Pendine to hold their
time trials on the famous sands over the weekend of the 30th of June/1st of
July. The event draws people from all over the country and a number from
the Continent. We had passed a Belgian hotrod being towed on the M4
near Bath days earlier and the owner was not holding back once he got on
to the start line. In fact, despite their ages, the cars were driven hard once
on the course.

The start flag was as big as the cars!  Well, how did I get on?

The paddock was absolutely packed.
 Eye Eye!

It was a scorching hot day but a very pleasant and enjoyable day on the
beach. The paddock was full of interesting vehicles and the number of
hotrods parked on the beach with the rest of us was a good display in its
own right. Best of all it is not expensive to park on the beach and you can
wander around and admire the workmanship for as long as you want.
