We were asked at very short notice to provide some cars for a classic car
evening in Mumbles. Newton road would be closed to traffic to
accommodate the cars and a number of street traders would be there to
make an evening of it. The only problem was that a good number of local
clubs were not aware of the show due to the information being restricted to
social media. Despite that there were a good number of cars on show that
evening and a very good crowd of people wandering about.
Unbeknown to the car owners, the various classics were being judged by
the Mayor and his party. Our own Alan Wingrave took first place with his
immaculate Austin A35. Second place went to member Kevin Harris with
his equally immaculate Vauxhall Cresta. Third place was given to Bryant
Hutson of the Swansea MG Enthusiasts Club with his MGA Roadster.

.Alan scoops the top prize with his A35 . Kevinís Vauxhall took second in show.
Classics on the Promenade as well  The crowds lasted into the night.

A classic evening in Mumbles is planned for next year.
