INFORMATION FOR EXHIBITORS

INTRODUCTION:

After the success of last year’s event, we are organising the second Classics at the Country Park event for Cars and Motorbikes at Craig-y-nos Country Park, Pen-y-Cae, Swansea

SA9 1GL.

This is a sister event to the Brecon and Radnor Express Classic Motor Show at the National Park Visitor Centre at Libanus in August which has a separate entry process.

USEFUL INFORMATION FOR YOU

Vehicles are on display between 11.00 and 15.00. At 15.00 there will be a motorcade and all the cars will leave the display area.  If you wish to remain at the Country Park after that time you are very welcome to park in the public car parks.

Your vehicle must be stationery in its display location by 10.30 am at the latest– the show organisers may refuse to allow access after this time because of the danger to pedestrians.  We do not wish to disappoint so please arrive in a timely manner.

Following requests from vehicle owners to leave earlier - and from the public who said they would love to see the cars moving, all the display vehicles will leave the site in a motorcade at 15.00 which will mark the end of the show.

Please follow the instructions of the stewards on where to park your vehicle and please speak to a steward before moving it.  This will enable us to ensure that everyone is kept safe.

The decision to park in the exhibition field is yours you know your vehicle best - you will be parking on grass and in places the surface is uneven - if the ground is soft, towing can be made available to vehicles which are able be towed.

The show opens to the public at 11.00 (am) on Sunday 4th September 2016. Visitors will pay for parking.  Craig-y-nos Country Park was formerly the gardens of Craig-y-nos Castle - the home of the internationally acclaimed Victorian opera singer, Adelina Patti. Visitors will be entertained with classical music and vintage musical theatre on the steps of the Pavilion and a brass band during the afternoon.
